The core business


The occupation is forestry, leasing out land and hunting as well as rental of houses and farms.

The forestry is managed according to a management agreement, which means that we do not have staff employed for that.

In addition to the owner and sons, four people are employed in the company.

The recurring work are care and maintenance of the various houses and the buildings, management of the short-term rental, maintenance of roads, renovation and refurbishment of old houses, as well as much more that that pops up as time goes on.




Vettinge Skog & Mark AB does not own the lands and houses, but manages them through a lease from Monica Gyllenstierna.



Most of the properties have been inherited for generations in the Gyllenstierna, Bjersgård family. During her time as owner, has also bought some forest land and thereby expanded the land holdings.

According to an agreement within the family, the sons will gradually take over both the land, the houses and the operations of Vettinge Skog & Mark AB.




The base of the business is Lyckås Gård 1055, Klippan. Knut Gyllenstierna lived here (deceased 2014) together with his then wife and theirs son Per. At that time, together with his brother Sten, he ran everything as Bjersgård, but in 1994 the brothers divided the properties and thats the shape we can still see today as Vettinge Skog & Mark AB.

When Knut died, Monica took over the operation.

Lyckås is mentioned in 1854 when the beautiful half-timbered buildings were moved here from Bjersgård. A few years later, the manor building was built and it became one courtyard. Both milk production and pig breeding have been carried out here, but now there are no animals on the farm.

An extensive upgrade and renovation work has been going on for some time and on the farm itself, short-term rentals and holiday accommodation which is much appreciated.




Some of the houses have been rented out all year round for many years, but there are also a couple of houses with holiday-cottage status.
We also have houses under renovation that are being upgraded to all year residences, located out in the silence of the forest.


On the farm at Lyckås, the manor building, the large, white house, is rented out as holiday accommodation. There are 10 beds here and the standard is high.


In the old chicken house, an apartment has taken shape and this is also rented out as a holiday home. Fresh and homely accommodation for two people. Feel free to look at the links to Airbnb below:






In the old stable buildings, fine cars and caravans are stored during the winter season. Solar cells on the roof keep the farm basically self-sufficient on electricity.
